Anita Barone

Barone appeared in the fourth-season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham an executive chef, who was looking for Elaine Benes shoes. Early in the 1990s Barone appeared as a regular on Carol & Company alongside Carol Burnett. Barone played Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife in the initial Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett replaced her after she left to take on full-time work. She had a role on The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 until 1996, and The War at Home between 2005 and 2007. Then, in 2000 Barone played a part in the show Daddio. Her other TV credits include Desperate Housewives: Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004, Barone was the recipient of her 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in the The feature film One Last Ride. Barone began her character as mother to Bella Thorne and CeCe Jones in 2010 - three years after The War at Home concluded its run. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones as the ex-husband of Barone's character for two seasons.
